Hi,

This week will see the end of principal photography for our film. Next week we enter post-production.

We had a wonderfully creative time at Farm Studios and Natasha Paulinyi’s performance was fantastic. Tim Woodford’s cinematography was magnificent as well and we have filmed some great scenes for you to see.

Handy Cloud Productions is looking for corporate sponsors for the film’s Bristol Premiere at the “M shed” on the Harbourside.

We are so happy to announce that we have booked Farm Studios for principal photography on February 21st & 22nd.

We are recording the voice of ‘Sorrow’ on 6th February along with working on a schedule for the location shoot.

We are excited to announce that Natasha Paulinyi will play ‘Sorrow’ in our next film, ‘My Name Is Sorrow’. (http://mynameissorrow.com)

We are currently working on promotional material and a video for the production.

‘My Name is Sorrow’ is a film about human trafficking and focuses on a woman enslaved in the sex trafficking ‘industry’. It is a deeply personal and intimate portrayal of the effects of this inhumanity on one woman, ‘Sorrow’.

Tim Woodford filming Bollywood in Chennai

We are excited to announce that Tim Woodford will be in Chennai filming a Bollywood (or Kollywood as they are called in Chennai) movie during February. The film’s title, in English is ‘Unlimited Love’. (translating directly from the Tamil!!)

In memorium: Mary Palmer

It was with sadness, tinged with joy, that we inform you that our friend Mary Palmer died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Tuesday, 9th June. Mary had battled long with melanoma and was being cared for in the last few weeks by the wonderful staff of Dorothy House Hospice, near Bradford-upon-Avon. Mary was a marvellous friend and poet. She was thrilled when a collection of her poems (‘Iona’) was published by Awen Publications, (Bath), in 2008.

Mary was a creative soulmate, always ready with beautiful words of wisdom, or perceptive criticism! We shall miss her deeply.

‘ONE’

Handy Cloud has just completed its first film. ‘ONE’ is a comedy, written in a week and filmed in just two and a half days at Belmont House, Wraxall, near Bristol. Both filming and Post-Production were completed in one week for the 168 Project in Los Angeles. It will be shown at the Alex Theatre, LA, on Saturday, 4th April. www.alextheatre.org
